Job Summary

Building Co. Best (BEST) L.L.C SP is seeking a skilled and service-oriented IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure across the Head Office and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, email accounts, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and password resets.
• Support LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Assist with IT asset inventory, equipment allocation, maintenance, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors when required.
• Support data backup procedures, antivirus protection, and IT security practices.
• Provide IT support to project sites and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain records of IT incidents, service requests, and resolutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or IT infrastructure maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, email configuration, and computer hardware.
• Basic knowledge of networking, Active Directory, user access management, and IT security.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and support multiple departments and project locations.
• Experience in the construction or contracting industry is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage, if travel between project sites is required.
