We are hiring an IT Technical Bar Support Technician in Canada! Are you a customer-focused IT troubleshooter who loves resolving issues face-to-face? AVASO is looking for a Level 2 IT Support professional to run our Walk-Up Technical Bar. If you excel at quick fixes, device hot-swaps, and delivering a great user experience, we want you on our team! Job Snapshot: Job Title: IT Support Engineer Locations: Vancouver Support Model: Technical Bar / Walk-Up IT Kiosk Experience Level: Level 2 IT Support Technical Roles & Responsibilities: Frontline Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on, walk-up support for Windows OS, laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and network connectivity issues. Quick Resolutions: Execute approved quick fixes for password resets, AD access, and standard enterprise applications while adhering strictly to IT compliance and security policies. Device Management (Hot-Swaps): Maintain, provision, and configure ready-to-use replacement laptops and peripherals to minimize end-user downtime. ServiceNow Ticketing: Create, update, and route incident tickets accurately. Ensure detailed documentation of all walk-up interactions, troubleshooting steps, and escalations. Strategic Escalation: Quickly diagnose whether an issue can be resolved at the L2 level or requires immediate escalation to advanced support tiers. What You Bring: Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English . Experience: 3+ year in a Help Desk, Service Desk, or Walk-Up IT Support role. Tech Stack: Solid grasp of Windows environments, basic networking, hardware break/fix, and enterprise ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred). Mindset: Patient, professional, and capable of translating technical jargon into simple terms for end-users. Pay: $55,000.00-$63,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
