Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced IT Support & Cloud Engineer to join our team. The Role: This is a varied and rewarding position combining technical support, cloud administration, project delivery and customer engagement. As part of a small and close-knit team, you will have exposure to all areas of our service delivery. One day you may be helping a client resolve a Microsoft 365 issue, the next deploying Intune policies, delivering a migration project or attending a customer site. The successful candidate will be a confident, customer-focused individual who enjoys solving technical problems, communicating with clients and helping businesses get the most from their technology. This role offers excellent variety, responsibility and opportunities for further development. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to a portfolio of managed service clients. Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows and networking issues. Deploy, configure and manage Microsoft Intune environments. Administer Microsoft Entra ID and identity management solutions. Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams environments. Configure and maintain Microsoft Defender security solutions. Deploy and support Windows devices using Microsoft Autopilot and modern management tools. Monitor and maintain client environments using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) software. Assist with onboarding and offboarding users. Deliver infrastructure, cloud and migration projects. Carry out customer site visits and provide on-site support where required. Create and maintain technical documentation. Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service. Participate in the company's out-of-hours on-call rota. Essential Skills & Experience: Microsoft Technologies Applicants should have strong practical experience with: Microsoft 365 Microsoft Intune Microsoft Entra ID Exchange Online SharePoint Online Microsoft Teams Microsoft Defender Conditional Access Windows Autopilot Technical Skills: Previous experience working within an MSP environment. Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting skills. Experience managing cloud-first environments. Good understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and VPN technologies. Experience using RMM software. Experience working with PSA/ticketing platforms. Ability to manage multiple priorities and clients effectively. Personal Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional and confident manner when dealing with clients. Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Well organised with excellent attention to detail. Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Desirable Skills: The following skills would be advantageous but are not essential: WordPress website administration and troubleshooting. NetDocuments Management / Implementation Microsoft Azure administration. Meraki networking solutions. PowerShell scripting and automation. Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies. Cyber security best practices. Relevant Microsoft certifications including: MS-900 AZ-900 SC-900 MD-102 MS-102 Working Arrangements: This is an office-based role located at our Basingstoke office and is not a remote or hybrid position . The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office Monday to Friday whilst also attending customer sites when required. Client Site Visits The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel to client sites across the South East, including regular visits to London. All authorised business travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with company policy. A full UK driving licence is required. On-Call Support Participation in the Workplace Connect on-call rota is a mandatory requirement of the role. The on-call service provides support for critical client issues outside normal business hours and attracts an additional on-call allowance. Applicants should be comfortable with the responsibility of responding to urgent support requests as part of a shared team rota. What We Offer: Competitive salary dependent on experience.
