IT Desk is a Maidstone-based managed service provider. We're looking for an Apprentice IT Support Technician to learn the job on our service desk while working towards the Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship with QA. About us We're a team of around ten people looking after roughly 138 businesses and 3,000 devices. Our clients range from solicitors and design studios to rail, facilities and environmental firms. You'll learn from experienced 1st and 2nd line engineers on real client work from day one. What you'll be doing - Answering calls and emails from client staff and logging tickets - Handling everyday requests: password resets, MFA, Microsoft 365 account changes - Setting up laptops and accounts for new starters - Supporting users remotely, with guidance from the team - Passing harder issues to 2nd line with clear notes on what you've checked - Shadowing engineers on bigger jobs and site visits - Completing your apprenticeship coursework and training What we're looking for - A genuine interest in IT, - Friendly and confident on the phone - Reliable, punctual and keen to learn - GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or willing to work towards them - No previous work experience needed; a driving licence is a bonus What you'll get - A Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship with QA, including Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certifications (about 13 months, plus a 4-month end-point assessment) - Training time built into your working week - Real hands-on experience across a wide range of businesses and technology - A clear path into a 1st line role as your skills build Where you'll work Mainly office-based at Suite 49, Maidstone Innovation Centre, Gidds Pond Way, Maidstone, ME14 5FY.
