# IT Solution Delivery Executive **Lily Communications Limited** · Leeds · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About the Role: The IT Solution Delivery Executive takes ownership of IT delivery once the sales process has been completed, and the order has been accepted into delivery. Acting as the customer’s primary point of contact, you will coordinate the project from handover through planning, implementation, customer acceptance, and operational handover. This is a customer-facing, office-based role within the Solution Delivery Team. Communication is central to success. You will use Microsoft Teams, telephone and clear written updates to build rapport, set expectations, and give each customer confidence that their project is being managed effectively. Projects range from focused deployments, such as SonicWall firewall installations and Microsoft 365 changes, to full customer onboarding involving devices, users, cloud services, security, connectivity and support transition. You will not be expected to perform every technical task, but you must understand the technologies well enough to lead accurate conversations, identify dependencies, challenge gaps, and coordinate the right technical resource. Key Responsibilities: Become the named customer contact following the approved Sales-to-Delivery handover. Arrange and lead customer onboarding or project kick-off calls using Microsoft Teams or telephone, involving technical colleagues where required. Build trusted customer relationships through confident, professional and proactive communication. Agree the communication method and update cadence at the start of each project, then maintain it throughout delivery. Explain scope, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, target dates and next steps in clear, non-technical language. Manage expectations honestly and escalate risks or delays early, avoiding surprises for the customer. Review the completed sales handover, contract, scope, prerequisites and technical information before accepting the project into delivery. Create and maintain a delivery plan covering actions, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks and target dates. Coordinate internal engineers, Sales, Service Desk, Account Management, suppliers, distributors and third parties. Ensure equipment, licences, access, customer information, engineer resources and third-party activity are ready before work is scheduled. Use a readiness gate before confirming installation dates, ensuring technical and customer dependencies have been completed and validated. Monitor progress across multiple concurrent projects and act when milestones are at risk. Keep project records, tickets, notes and customer communications accurate and current within company systems. Complete project closure checks, including documentation, billing or charge confirmation, asset and service records, customer acceptance and support handover. Coordinate delivery across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, SonicWall firewalls, networking, endpoint configuration and associated managed services. Identify missing information, technical dependencies, access requirements and delivery risks before engineer attendance or migration activity. Work with technical leads to validate the approach and ensure engineers receive complete and accurate job packs. Contribute templates, checklists, knowledge articles and continuous process improvement. About You: You are a confident, customer-focused delivery professional with experience coordinating IT projects in an MSP environment. You can build rapport quickly, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and take ownership from handover through to completion. Essential: At least two years’ experience in project coordination, service delivery, implementation or customer onboarding within a Managed Service Provider environment. Experience managing multiple customer projects or workstreams from handover through to completion. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows desktop and server environments, networking and firewall concepts, ideally including SonicWall. Ability to understand technical scope and translate it into clear customer-facing updates and actions. Excellent verbal and written communication, with confidence leading Microsoft Teams calls and speaking with customers by telephone. Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify risks, dependencies and blockers, then drive actions through to resolution. Experience using a CRM, professional services automation or ticketing platform to maintain project records. A collaborative approach, with the confidence to coordinate colleagues and suppliers without direct line management authority. A customer-first mindset and a strong sense of ownership from start to finish. Technical Must-Haves: Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments. Understanding networking, firewalls and business connectivity, ideally including SonicWall. Ability to hold credible discovery and progress conversations with customers and incumbent IT providers. Ability to recognise when technical escalation is required and engage the appropriate specialist. Accurate project documentation, customer communication and operational handover skills. Desirable: Experience supporting full MSP customer onboarding, Microsoft 365 migrations or tenant changes, firewall deployments, network refreshes or endpoint rollouts. Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, backup, endpoint security, connectivity and managed support services. Experience working with distributors, licensing portals and third-party suppliers. PRINCE2 Foundation, Microsoft Fundamentals or relevant SonicWall certification. Commercial awareness, including scope control, chargeable changes, project margin and timely billing. How Success Will Be Measured: Timely first contact and kick-off following project handover. Projects delivered against agreed milestones with accurate and consistent customer updates. High first-time-right delivery and low levels of avoidable rework or repeat visits. Complete project records, documentation and support handovers. Risks and dependencies identified early, with no installations booked before readiness is confirmed. Positive customer feedback and effective internal collaboration. Projects closed promptly once delivery and acceptance activities are complete. Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
