IT Project Coordinator
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized IT Project Coordinator to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects that support enterprise-wide solutions. Responsibilities Coordinate all phases of IT projects, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, and deployment, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMBOK standards. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, Jira, TFS, VersionOne, and SharePoint to track progress and milestones. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among software developers, infrastructure teams, database administrators (SQL, Oracle), and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals. Manage project scope, risks, issues, and dependencies proactively through comprehensive risk management strategies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), create test cases, and oversee defect tracking to guarantee quality deliverables aligned with enterprise software standards. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels regarding project status updates, changes in scope or timeline, and resource needs. Support release management activities including deployment planning for enterprise solutions implementation in cloud environments such as AWS and other cloud computing platforms. Qualifications Proven experience in IT project management with a strong background in technical project & program management supervision. Extensive knowledge of project management tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, TFS, VersionOne, Visio, and SharePoint. Demonstrated expertise in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) planning alongside traditional Waterfall methodologies; familiarity with SAFe framework is a plus. Strong understanding of enterprise software development processes and IT infrastructure components such as disaster recovery plans and IT governance policies. Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and Oracle), cloud computing platforms (AWS), and software implementation projects. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on project deadlines. Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team leadership; ability to negotiate effectively across diverse teams. Technical proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis skills for test-driven development (TDD), user acceptance testing (UAT), and risk mitigation strategies. Leadership experience in managing technical teams through project lifecycle phases including release management and disaster recovery planning.
