The consultant will be responsible for business and functional analysis, solution design, test coordination, quality assurance, incident analysis, application support, and collaboration with both business stakeholders and development teams. The role covers the full application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and operational support. Your missions: Analyze business requirements and needs. Facilitate discussions and workshops with stakeholders. Propose and validate functional solutions with the business. Define solutions aligned with the IT architecture and end-to-end application landscape. Act as the liaison between business teams and development partners. Produce and maintain functional analysis and design documentation. Follow the development lifecycle. Perform requirements and functional analysis using established methodologies and tools. Use UML and Enterprise Architect for analysis activities. Review technical solutions proposed by development partners. Ensure the quality of development deliverables. Manage and coordinate testing activities. Participate in implementation activities. Maintain reference documentation. Coordinate, develop and execute test plans. Ensure applications meet production quality expectations. Co-manage applications together with developers. Analyze, document and follow up defects and bugs. Support incident and problem management activities. Provide second-line support. Your activities: Business & Functional Analysis Requirements gathering Requirements analysis Functional analysis Functional design Solution definition and validation Workshop facilitation Stakeholder management End-to-end process analysis Business-to-IT coordination Modelling & Documentation UML modelling Enterprise Architect Functional documentation Analysis documentation Reference documentation management Testing & Quality Assurance Test planning Test coordination Test scenario design Test execution End-to-End (E2E) testing Quality assurance Deliverable validation Defect analysis Bug tracking and follow-up Application Support Application management Incident analysis Problem analysis Second-line support Production support Agile Delivery Scrum methodology Collaboration with business stakeholders Collaboration with developers Collaboration with project managers Coordination with external development partners You have the following skills: Functional Analysis Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst Proven experience in requirements analysis Functional design experience Testing ISTQB certification Proven experience coordinating testing across business users, functional analysts, developers and project managers Proven experience designing test scenarios Proven experience executing test scenarios Minimum 5 years of experience in E2E testing and test coordination Energy Market Expertise Minimum 5 years of experience with MIG/UMIG processes Technical Skills Jira SQL queries for functional analysis SQL queries for incident analysis XML validation Message validation Support & Operations Incident analysis Problem analysis Second-line support Application management Methodology Scrum Languages Fluent French with a good knowledge of Dutch, or Fluent Dutch with a good knowledge of French Nice to Have Experience with a modelling tool UML Enterprise Architect Working Conditions Minimum 3 days on-site in Brussels Votre profil You have at least 5 years of professional experiences in IT If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best You’re eager to learn, motivated and curious Let’s have a chat !
