As a Business Analyst and integration analyst, you will be the key reference for our Microsoft Business Central system, both functional and technical: analysing and documenting business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, building interfaces and integrations with Power Automate, and delivering data integration and reporting with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Microsoft Business Central in a functional and technical capacity, a strong command of the Microsoft product stack, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must have experience with the cloud (SaaS) version of Business Central and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the software’s capabilities and limitations. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for Microsoft Business Central. Analyze business requirements and design solutions that meet business needs and adhere to Business Central best practices. Develop detailed functional specifications and design documents for Business Central enhancements and customizations, including AL extensions. Act as the functional and technical reference for Business Central: configure the application, develop AL extensions, and manage web services (APIs, OData). Design and build interfaces and integrations between Business Central and other business systems using Power Automate and the Microsoft Power Platform. Build and maintain data integrations, semantic models, and dashboards with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to deliver reliable management reporting. Provide ongoing support (functional and technical) for the Business Central system, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system functionality and make recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements. Conduct training sessions for end-users on Business Central system functionality and best practices. Develop and maintain documentation, user manuals, and training materials Stay up to date with Business Central, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric updates and new features, and make recommendations for system upgrades as needed. KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Business Central (or Dynamics NAV), covering both functional and technical aspects. Strong hands-on experience with Business Central development (AL language, extensions, APIs/OData web services, and reporting) is required. Knowledge of finance, accounting, inventory management, and other ERP related functions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong functional knowledge of Business Central modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Logistics. Experience with Power Automate to design and build interfaces and integrations between Business Central and third-party systems. Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to build data integrations, semantic models, and dashboards is required. Strong overall command of the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Dataverse). Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. Drive for results and perseverance. High level of proactivity and organizational skills AI understanding and AI tool usage is a must.
