IT Business Analyst – EPoS & Cloud Solutions

Visual Business Retail Ltd is looking for an IT Business Analyst to help improve the software and reporting tools used by our retail and hospitality customers.

Our solutions include UPOS EPoS, SPOS Cloud Reporting, Loyalty and Online Ordering applications . You will work with customers, developers and support teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements for software improvements.

What you’ll do

• Analyse business processes across sales, stock, purchasing and supplier management.
• Review customer purchasing patterns, product performance and sales transactions to identify reporting needs.
• Map data flows between EPoS systems, databases and connected applications.
• Prepare functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assess the feasibility, costs and benefits of proposed software enhancements.
• Use SQL, Excel, Python and Power BI, as appropriate, to investigate data quality and reporting requirements.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing and implementation.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in IT business analysis, systems analysis or a closely related role.
• Strong analytical skills and practical experience using SQL and Excel.
• Ability to document requirements clearly and communicate with customers and technical teams.
• Understanding of software development and testing processes.

Experience with EPoS, retail, hospitality, stock management, Power BI, Python or API integrations would be an advantage.

Pay: £25,420.00-£60,000.00 per year
