Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience to design and optimize systems that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare and insurance sectors, along with hands-on knowledge of Insurance Management Systems. Experience working in an Agile environment is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

· Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.

· Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts, BPMN diagrams, and other visual models, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.

· Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.

· Define the scope of work and deliver technical documents such as SRS (Software Requirements Specification), BRD (Business Requirements Document), and SDS (System Design Specification).

· Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.

· Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.

· Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and training users.

· Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

· Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

· Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

· Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, forming project teams, and establishing project budgets.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum practices, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior experience working in the healthcare and insurance industries.

· Hands-on experience with Insurance Management Systems (IMS).

· Familiarity with Agile methodology including Scrum concepts such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and product backlogs and working within Agile project frameworks .

· Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Education:

· A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in the IT industry.

Experience:

· 3 to 5 years of experience in the health insurance industry.
