In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability, and performance of ATM switch systems that support critical banking operations. You will oversee system operations, project implementations, vendor management, regulatory compliance, business continuity initiatives, and a team of technical specialists supporting the ATM business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology leader with expertise in electronic payments, ATM switching, EFT transactions, and banking systems integration. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership Develop and execute strategies for ATM switch and transaction processing platforms. Align system capabilities with the bank's ATM and digital banking objectives. Recommend technology enhancements and innovations to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across switch operations and support functions. Operations Management Ensure 24/7 availability, performance, and reliability of ATM switch systems. Monitor transaction processing, system health, and service performance. Lead incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis activities. Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) with internal teams and external providers. System Administration and Support Oversee maintenance, configuration, optimization, and support of switch applications and infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration between ATM systems, core banking applications, payment networks, and third-party service providers. Manage system upgrades, patch deployments, testing activities, and infrastructure refresh initiatives. Project Management Lead ATM switch-related projects from planning through implementation. Coordinate with business units, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Manage system enhancements, migrations, and deployment of new electronic banking services. Risk Management and Compliance Ensure compliance with banking regulations, payment network requirements, and information security standards. Implement controls to reduce operational, cybersecurity, and fraud-related risks. Support internal and external audits and address audit findings in a timely manner. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Develop, maintain, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for switch systems. Ensure operational readiness and recovery capabilities for critical banking services. Vendor and Stakeholder Management Manage relationships with ATM switch vendors, payment networks, and service providers. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service commitments are met. Collaborate with business and operations teams to support service delivery and business requirements. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, administrators, analysts, and support specialists. Set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and innovation. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree is an advantage. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking technology, payment systems, ATM switching, or transaction processing environments. At least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory, managerial, or leadership capacity. Strong experience in ATM switching platforms, electronic funds transfer (EFT), and transaction processing operations. Experience managing mission-critical, high-availability banking systems. Proven track record in project delivery, vendor management, and operational leadership.
