This role involves overseeing inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking, coordinating with various teams, and supporting audits. Proficiency in Excel and effective communication skills are essential to succeed in this position. Software Asset management and Service Now is must Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including acquisition, assignment, and disposal. Track asset movement across multiple locations and ensure data accuracy in the master inventory. Perform regular audits to verify physical and digital asset records. 2. Data Management: Update and manage the master inventory database with all asset-related information. Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and generating inventory insights. Ensure timely updates and maintain version control of asset records. 3. Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with the Finance team to update and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register (FAR). Coordinate with internal teams for asset allocation and retrieval. Communicate effectively through email, ensuring timely tracking and responses. 4. Audit and Compliance: Assist in the preparation and execution of yearly audits. Ensure compliance with company policies for asset handling and reporting. Support the Finance team during external and internal audits. 5. Operational Oversight: Conduct regular floor walks to monitor physical assets and update records. Ensure proper tagging and documentation of all IT assets. Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions promptly. 6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve asset tracking and management efficiency. Ensure best practices in inventory management are followed consistently. Qualifications: Proven experience in asset inventory management with IT assets. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication skills, including email management and tracking. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience with FAR registers and audit processes. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
