# Investment Operations Administrator – Corporate Events/Actions **Alpha Wealth Group (London) Limited** · London SW1H · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Position An opportunity has become available for an organised and detail-focused individual to join a busy Investment Operations function, supporting the administration of events that affect customers' investment holdings. This is an operational position suited to someone who enjoys investigating information, working with financial data and ensuring transactions and account updates are completed correctly. You will be responsible for following investment events from notification through to completion. This could involve changes to a company's shares, acquisitions, distributions, reorganisations or situations where an investment is being removed or restructured. You do not need to be a corporate actions specialist. Previous experience within financial services, banking, investment administration, trading support or client operations would provide a useful foundation, with further training provided as part of the role. Your Day-to-Day Work Your workload will involve receiving details of upcoming investment events and establishing what action needs to be taken. You will research and verify information from available sources, record event details on internal systems and ensure relevant deadlines and instructions are captured correctly. Where an event affects customers, you will help turn the technical information into straightforward explanations so they can understand what is happening to their investments and, where applicable, what options are available to them. You will also: Monitor active investment events and progress outstanding actions through to completion. Check account and holding information before processing updates. Handle events such as share reorganisations, acquisitions, company closures and other changes affecting securities. Investigate discrepancies or incomplete information before processing. Respond to operational queries from colleagues and other areas of the business. Coordinate with teams responsible for trading, asset transfers and transaction settlement. Maintain accurate records and complete appropriate checks throughout each case. Work to internal deadlines and service standards. Escalate unusual or higher-risk cases when further review is required. Help identify repetitive issues and suggest practical improvements to existing workflows. Who This Could Suit This role could be a good next step if you already have some experience in a regulated financial environment and would like to move further into investment operations. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate accuracy, organisation and good judgement rather than requiring extensive specialist experience. You should be comfortable working with numbers and detailed information and be able to communicate clearly when explaining financial or operational matters. Experience using Excel and computer-based processing systems will also be useful, as much of the work involves reviewing information, maintaining records and processing activity electronically. Previous exposure to investments, securities, brokerage operations or corporate actions would be advantageous, although applicants from broader banking and financial-services backgrounds will also be considered. Working Environment This is a 35-hour, Monday-to-Friday position, operating during standard business hours. The role initially includes structured training and support to help you understand the team's systems, controls and investment processes. Once established in the position, there is the opportunity to combine office attendance with working remotely. You will work alongside colleagues across several operational areas, giving you exposure to different stages of how investment transactions and customer holdings are administered.
