The Opportunity Role Value Proposition: The primary function of this role the responsibility will include day to day investment activities, Team support, continual improvement, and maintenance of relationships with FIs. work within the Levant Investment team within the EMEA investment Finance with a primary focus on conducting Levant investment activities -related responsibilities, pertaining to Identification of available investments opportunities in Egypt market with adherence to investment guidelines and statutory requirements in co-ordination with Levant Investment manager & Regional Chief Investment Officer as well as investment committee. Prepare documentation for trade execution and settlement, Levant Investment accounting, Funds Management and closing processes. Manage assigned client accounts according to specific client investment objectives and constraints. This includes idea generation, execution of strategies and monitoring of assets to ensure maximization of portfolio performance. Key Responsibilities The key function of this role is to conduct Levant day-to-day investment operations responsibilities for the available fund, with a focus on the area of trade execution and settlement which includes ensuring that the decisions of the committees and regional CIO are implemented appropriately. In addition to manage assigned client accounts according to specific client investment objectives and constraints. This includes idea generation, execution of strategies and monitoring of assets to ensure maximization of portfolio performance as well as reconciliation of investment. Team Support in the day-to-day investment activities. Participation in team (company) meeting and projects as requested Support management by taking on additional suitable tasks Adhere to Company policies and procedures as well as the investment strategy for the company and clients. Carry out and deliver such training as be required with in this role or requested by the area’s management. Market Activity Negotiate new offers with different banks & asset management to get best investment offers in the market in order to maximize the Net investment income NII. Gathers information such as industry, regulatory, and economic information, financial statements, financial periodicals, and newspapers that is relevant to investment. Maintain a sound knowledge of investment products with the ability to differentiate between investment types, understand reinvestments etc. Investment activity Processing paperwork for trades and related activity. Create and update process tracking logs and systems as required Ensure all trades are placed and verified in the market before the daily cut off. Ensure trades are settled in the market in a timely manner. Ensure all investment assets and accounting records reflect this investment activity. Ensure that client portfolios reflect the positions of the relevant model asset allocation. Analyses past, present, and expected operating & investment cash Prepare and distributing of portfolios statements and investment manager reports. Calculate the NAV for fund of fund and update the price for each fund Manage assigned client accounts according to specific client investment objectives and constraints. This includes idea generation, execution of strategies and monitoring of assets to ensure maximization of portfolio performance. Presentation of findings & recommendation to Investment Manager & Investment Committee as well as Regional CIO. Income and Charges All income is recognised upon entitlement. All details are reconciled back to supporting documentation and bank confirmation. All tax, fund management charges and refunds are accounted for on a timely and accurate basis. Assists in investment Budgets & NII Projections preparation. Reconcile accounts from multiple custodial relationships & investment assets. Control and accounting Reconciliation of investment prices, holdings and banks are completed on a timely basis Responsible for records& documents in accordance with regulatory and auditor’s requirements. Participate in monthly closing processes and ensure that all investment assets are recorded. Participate in prepare the required reports from the management and regulator. Daily activity is reflected in the investment accounting records. Review and prepare monthly accounting and reconciliation. Play active role in internal/external audits, and other group controls. Other Carry out other business activities and duties as directed by the area’s management Unit Linked Governance Risk Management Staff support Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Minimum 3 years business experience in the financial industry. Focus on asset management/financial services industry is preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Good judgment & interpersonal skill. Previous experience of supervising/managing a busy deadline driven team within a finance area/department Must be organized and deadline efficient. Experience of Fixed income & Equity market. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong Microsoft office capabilities, in the use of excel. Familiarity with AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance productivity, data analysis, reporting, and business decision-making. Preferred Qualifications Master’s or MBA preferred. Fund of funds experience is preferred.
