Would you like to gain valuable professional experience over a 12-month period while contributing to the Swiss financial center? Are you interested in combining strategic analysis with hands-on operational work? Then we would like to hear from you!

SIX Trade Repository, part of the Securities Services Business Unit, sits at the heart of derivatives reporting in the Swiss financial center. As a Strategy & Operations Intern, you will support the CEO on M&A, product and platform strategy, while working alongside the Head of Product and Operations and the Head of Client Support on day-to-day activities and improvement initiatives. This combination offers broad exposure to both the strategic development and operational delivery of financial market infrastructure services.

What You Will Do

• support the CEO on strategic initiatives and M&A activities through research, analysis and the preparation of decision-making materials
• contribute to the development and implementation of SIX Trade Repository’s product and platform strategy
• prepare market and competitor analyses, business cases and management presentations in collaboration with Business, Strategy/M&A and IT teams
• support the Head of Product and Operations and the Head of Client Support in day-to-day activities and cross-functional projects
• assist with client onboarding and technical coordination, and help address business and technical queries together with the relevant specialists
• contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational quality, efficiency and the overall client experience
• take on additional responsibilities based on your interests, strengths and development goals

What You Bring

• university degree in economics, finance, management or a related field; an engineering background combined with a strong interest in finance is also welcome
• initial professional experience in banking, asset management, management consulting or a related environment is an advantage
• strong analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across different teams and stakeholder groups
• good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
