As the group continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter / Talent Acquisition to take ownership of recruitment across our services. This is not a recruitment agency role and it is not simply an HR administration position. We want someone who is proactive, commercially minded and confident enough to go out and find good people rather than waiting for applications to arrive. The role You will manage recruitment from vacancy through to successful appointment, working closely with our Registered Managers, senior leadership team and HR. You will recruit across a range of positions, including: Registered Managers Deputy Managers Team Leaders Senior Residential Support Workers Residential Support Workers Supported Accommodation staff Education staff Central support and specialist roles You will be responsible for keeping our recruitment pipeline moving and ensuring managers have clear visibility of where every vacancy and candidate sits. What you'll be doing Managing vacancies across the Oaktree Group Writing and improving job adverts Managing Indeed and other recruitment platforms Proactively sourcing and approaching candidates Searching CV databases rather than relying solely on incoming applicants Screening candidates and carrying out initial telephone interviews Coordinating interviews with managers Keeping candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process Following up quickly after interviews and offers Building pipelines for difficult-to-fill roles before vacancies become urgent Maintaining accurate records within our Applicant Tracking System Monitoring recruitment performance, including vacancy levels, applications, interviews, offers and successful appointments Working with HR to ensure candidates move smoothly into compliance and onboarding Developing relationships with local colleges, universities and other potential recruitment sources Supporting recruitment campaigns for new homes and service openings Helping strengthen Oaktree's employer brand and candidate experience What we're looking for We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment and understands that the job is about finding people , not simply processing applications. You should be: Experienced in recruitment, talent acquisition or resourcing Confident using Indeed and CV databases Comfortable proactively contacting candidates Organised and able to manage multiple vacancies at the same time Persistent when recruiting for difficult roles Comfortable speaking with managers and challenging them when necessary Good at building relationships with candidates Strong with systems, trackers and recruitment data Able to work quickly without compromising quality Experience recruiting within children's residential care, social care, supported accommodation, healthcare or education would be a significant advantage, although we would consider a strong recruiter from another high-volume or difficult-to-recruit sector. What success looks like We are looking for somebody who takes ownership. You will know: What vacancies we currently have Which vacancies are most urgent How many suitable candidates are in the pipeline Who has been contacted Who has been interviewed Who has been offered Why candidates are dropping out Where we need to change our recruitment approach The aim is simple: better candidates, recruited faster, with fewer vacancies left sitting open.
