At the Heart Foundation, we're looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join our Technology & Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in connecting the systems, platforms and data that underpin our digital ecosystem, enabling better experiences for our people, supporters and the communities we serve. Working closely with internal stakeholders, delivery partners and technology vendors, you'll design, build and maintain integrations across websites, enterprise systems, automation platforms and third-party services, helping drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation. What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for: - Designing, building and supporting integrations across websites, digital platforms, CRM systems, forms and third-party applications. - Developing and maintaining APIs, webhooks, automated workflows and data transformations. - Monitoring and maintaining critical integrations to ensure reliability, performance and security. - Troubleshooting complex system and data-flow issues across interconnected platforms. - Working closely with vendors and development partners to deliver technical solutions and website enhancements. - Contributing to innovation initiatives involving automation, AI-enabled solutions and modern integration patterns. - Creating and maintaining technical documentation, architecture diagrams and support resources. Supporting and improving the technology stack underpinning our websites, digital platforms and web applications. - About you We're looking for a technically capable and commercially minded professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders. You'll bring: - Experience in a commercially focused environment. - Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - A confident, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes. - A calm, pragmatic and collaborative working style. - Experience building and supporting integrations, APIs, webhooks and automated workflows. - Strong experience with modern web technologies (we use React and Next.js.) - Experience working with Power Automate and the Microsoft Power Platform. - Experience with headless CMS platforms and architectures, ideally Contentstack . - Experience integrating enterprise systems and SaaS platforms using API-first approaches.
