Instrumentation & Control Engineers (Contract) (Ref No.:ICE/28/1106) Job Duties: Coordinate with relevant parties especially relating to interface with superstructure work, mechanical work, gas related activity, site possession, access route; Check and review the requirements and installation details of equipment; Study and review the installation drawings and procedure and provide technical advice for the installation work; Perform as a leader role for supervision of erection, T&C work of I&C equipment; Coordinate and work closely with the erection contractor for preparation, planning and actual implementation of the work; Provide detailed information on commissioning sequence for those critical I&C equipment of the Plant and to assist the Engineer in preparation of the overall commissioning programme in accordance with the Project Key Dates. Provide detailed pre-commissioning check lists, testing and commissioning procedures, acceptance criteria and standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering or building services engineering or related discipline; Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in instrument installation and testing experience in I&C work for Industrial Plant; Holding construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) Holding a registered electrical worker with EMSD of certificate Grade A0 or above; Applicant with previous working experience on power plant / transmission system and public utilities will be an advantage; Possession of valid driving license will be an advantage; Possession of valid certificates for Mandatory Basic Safety Training (Construction Work), Certified Workers of Confined Spaces Operation, etc., recognized by Hong Kong Labour Department; Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese languages. Other Informations: Working locations: Lamma Power Station and Hong Kong Island as determined by the HK Electric; Working hours: From 09:00 to 17:45 (Mon - Fri) including 1 hour of lunch break. Time-off compensation will be arranged in lieu of the overtime working hours; Contract Period: The tentative Period from Oct 2026 to June 2028.
