INSTALLATION & FIELD OPERATION MANAGER-METAL FABRICATION
Job Summary Iron King LA is looking for an experienced Installation & Field Operations Manager to manage and oversee our metal installation crews throughout the Los Angeles area. This is a hands-on field management position. We need someone who understands metal fabrication and installation and can take responsibility for scheduling crews, preparing jobs for installation, visiting job sites, solving field problems, and making sure every installation is completed correctly and on time. Responsibilities Manage and supervise all installation crews Schedule daily and weekly installations Assign workers and crews to each project Review shop drawings, plans and field measurements before installation Make sure materials, hardware, tools and equipment are ready before crews leave the shop Visit job sites and verify site conditions Coordinate installation of gates, fences, railings, stairs, structural steel, canopies and custom metalwork Communicate with customers, general contractors and the office Solve installation and job-site problems Monitor quality and productivity of installation crews Manage punch-list items and callbacks Make sure projects are completed safely, professionally and on schedule Provide daily updates on job progress and crew schedules Qualifications Metal fabrication/installation experience strongly preferred Experience managing construction or installation crews Ability to read shop drawings and construction plans Knowledge of welding and metal installation Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Good communication and organizational skills Valid driver’s license Must be able to travel to job sites throughout the Los Angeles area Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
