Job Summary We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and innovative Software Innovation Engineer (Gaming) with a strong background in game development, casino gaming, iGaming, and/or mobile gaming, and hands-on experience in Unity and C#, to transform product ideas, market opportunities, and emerging technologies into engaging gaming products and prototypes, working closely with cross-functional teams to explore concepts, evaluate technical feasibility, rapidly prototype, and develop promising ideas into production-ready gaming solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop innovative 2D/3D casino and gaming experiences using Unity and C#. Prototype and develop new casino game concepts, features, and interactive experiences. Translate product ideas, market opportunities, and user requirements into functional and engaging prototypes and proof-of-concepts. Develop reusable, efficient, and reliable code suitable for both prototyping and production environments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to explore and bring new casino concepts to life. Integrate graphics, animations, textures, audio, and other creative assets into interactive casino gaming experiences. Evaluate the technical feasibility, performance, scalability, and potential implementation approaches of new gaming concepts. Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges during prototyping, experimentation, and development phases. Review existing software architecture, development methodologies, and technology platforms to identify opportunities for improved performance, scalability, reusability, and development efficiency. Explore emerging technologies, tools, and development techniques that can create differentiated and innovative casino gaming experiences. Iterate on prototypes based on product feedback, user experience considerations, technical findings, and business requirements. Contribute to taking successful concepts from idea to production. Manage priorities and deliver prototypes and development tasks within agreed project timelines. Skills & Competencies Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Game Development, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of professional experience in casino gaming, game development, iGaming, mobile gaming, or related real-time interactive application development. Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C# object-oriented programming, with strong practical software development skills. Experience with Unity 2D/3D development. Good understanding of game development concepts, including game states, scripting, gameplay mechanics, animation systems, physics, UI, and asset management. Knowledge of 2D/3D graphics development, textures, visual effects, and interactive content development. Ability to rapidly translate ideas, concepts, and requirements into working prototypes and interactive experiences. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with ambiguous, evolving or early-stage requirements. Familiarity with debugging, profiling, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting. Experience using Git or other version control systems in a collaborative development environment. Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage priorities, work across multiple initiatives, and deliver prototypes or development tasks within project timelines. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing casino systems, gaming platforms, electronic gaming machines, or related gaming solutions is an advantage. Experience with game prototyping, R&D, innovation projects, or new product development. Experience taking a gaming concept from idea through prototype and into production Passionate about gaming with an understanding of user experience and interactive product design principles.
