The role reports to the Head of IT Transformation and is based on a hybrid pattern, split between the 3Gi office and a London office. Projects cover data centre, cloud, network, end-user computing, security and supplier-led work. The focus is on delivering change on time and within budget, with minimal disruption to the business, while meeting security and compliance standards. The role works closely with Technology leadership, the infrastructure and security teams, business stakeholders and third-party vendors. Key responsibilities Project delivery - Managing infrastructure projects end to end, from planning and delivery through to testing, cutover and closure - Maintaining project plans, schedules, RAID logs and status reports - Managing dependencies across infrastructure, security, applications and business teams - Coordinating internal teams and external suppliers - Handing completed projects over to BAU support Stakeholders and governance - Acting as the main point of contact for infrastructure change projects - Providing clear, non-technical updates to senior stakeholders - Preparing reports for steering committees and governance meetings - Following internal change, risk and security approval processes - Raising risks and issues early, with practical mitigation plans Vendor and commercial - Managing third-party vendors and suppliers - Ensuring suppliers deliver against contracts, timelines and quality standards - Supporting procurement, including scoping, vendor selection and cost estimates - Tracking budgets against actual spend Risk, security and compliance - Ensuring projects meet security and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, Cyber Essentials and FCA controls where relevant - Arranging security reviews and penetration testing when required - Making sure resilience and disaster recovery are built into project designs Continuous improvement - Improving project templates, standards and reporting - Helping reduce technical debt and improve system stability - Supporting the infrastructure roadmap alongside Technology leadership Requirements Essential - Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure projects (on-prem, cloud or hybrid) - Good working knowledge of networks, servers, cloud platforms, end-user computing and security - Experience managing third-party vendors and systems integrators - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Knowledge of project management methods (Waterfall, Agile or hybrid) - Experience in a regulated or security-focused environment Desirable - Cloud migration or large-scale infrastructure change projects - Experience with information security, identity or resilience projects - Budget tracking and business case experience - Experience working with steering committees - PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent certification Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 per year Job type: Full-time, Permanent How to apply Apply through Indeed with an up-to-date CV.
