Applicants for this job must reside in the Philippines and be legally allowed to work in the Philippines. The position is remote/work from home. As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data and systems. This is a full-time remote position based in the Philippines and will be part of our Engineering department. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and manage the company's information security program - Implement security measures, including encryption protocols, access controls, and regular security audits - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as SOC2 and ISO27001 - Train staff and foster a culture of data security throughout the organization - Monitor emerging threats and proactively enhance security protocols - Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the secure development and operation of our systems - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field - At least five years of experience in information security, preferably in a technology company - Deep understanding of data protection regulations and standards - Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Microsoft Azure - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote team If you are ready to contribute to a team that is revolutionizing the higher education sector, we want to hear from you.
