Information Security Director

Overview

The Information Security Director leads the organization’s information security program, aligning compliance, IT security management, and risk management with applicable security frameworks. This role combines team leadership with security analysis and assessment to support informed decisions and strengthen protection of organizational information.

Responsibilities

• Lead information security compliance activities and framework management.
• Oversee IT security management and IT risk management.
• Guide security analysis and assessment efforts.
• Manage governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software.
• Apply NIST SP 800-53 to support security and compliance work.
• Lead the security team and coordinate its priorities.
• Your impact: Strong governance helps teams manage risk and protect information.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of information security compliance and governance.
• Familiarity with IT security and risk management practices.
• Understanding of security frameworks, including NIST SP 800-53.
• Experience using governance, risk, and compliance software.
• Ability to assess security risks and interpret findings.
• Leadership skills to guide teams and communicate priorities.

Pay: $257,000.00 - $312,000.00 per year
