About Urban AI

Urban AI is a Dubai-based AI and digital transformation startup building practical AI solutions for businesses.

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and highly skilled In-House Videographer & Content Creator to become part of our team and help document the growth of Urban AI.

This is not a traditional videography role where you only come in for scheduled shoots. We want someone who will spend time with our team regularly, capture what happens behind the scenes, and turn our everyday activities into engaging content.

Think modern, fast-paced, authentic, Gen Z-style startup content rather than overly corporate videos.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will typically spend approximately 4–6 hours per day with our team , primarily from our Dubai office, while also joining us for important meetings, events, activities, and outings when required.

You will capture content including:

• Daily office life and behind-the-scenes moments
• Founder and team content
• Conversations and spontaneous moments
• AI demonstrations and product showcases
• Client visits and meetings, where filming is permitted
• Investor meetings and company meetings, where appropriate and authorized
• Conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and business events
• Team lunches, dinners, activities, and outings
• Professional photos of the founders and team
• Short-form social media videos
• Marketing campaigns and advertisements
• Company announcements and milestones
• Interviews and talking-head content
• Lifestyle and personal-brand-style content involving the founders
• Behind-the-scenes footage showing the journey of building Urban AI

The goal is to create a large library of high-quality, authentic content that Urban AI can use across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, advertisements, our website, and other marketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Film high-quality video content on a regular basis.
• Take professional and candid photographs.
• Capture spontaneous moments without making every piece of content feel staged.
• Develop creative ideas for Reels, TikToks, advertisements, and other short-form content.
• Understand current social media trends and translate them into content appropriate for Urban AI.
• Work closely with the founders and marketing team on content concepts.
• Film both vertical and horizontal content depending on the platform.
• Create visually appealing footage with proper framing, lighting, composition, and audio.
• Organize and manage video and photography files.
• Select the strongest clips from filming sessions.
• Edit short-form videos and social media content when required.
• Produce marketing and advertising footage that feels modern and premium.
• Attend selected events, meetings, conferences, activities, and company outings.
• Maintain discretion and professionalism when attending private business meetings.
• Be available occasionally outside normal working hours when important company events occur.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has professional or strong practical experience in videography and photography.
• Understands modern social media content and short-form video.
• Knows how to create content that feels natural, authentic, fast-paced, and engaging.
• Has a strong eye for framing, lighting, composition, and storytelling.
• Can capture great footage without requiring every moment to be scripted.
• Understands Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn content, and digital advertising.
• Is comfortable filming founders, executives, employees, and business environments.
• Is professional enough to attend investor meetings, conferences, client meetings, and corporate events.
• Is creative and regularly brings new content ideas to the team.
• Can work independently without needing constant direction.
• Is reliable, punctual, flexible, and comfortable working closely with a startup team.
• Is based in Dubai or able to work regularly from Dubai.

Equipment

Candidates should ideally have access to their own professional or high-quality videography equipment.

This may include:

• Professional camera or high-quality mirrorless camera
• Lenses suitable for social and commercial content
• Wireless microphones
• Lighting equipment
• Stabilizer/gimbal
• Tripod
• Photography equipment

Having your own equipment is strongly preferred.

Editing Skills

Basic to strong video editing ability is preferred.

Experience with software such as:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• CapCut
• Adobe Lightroom
• Adobe Photoshop

is an advantage.

We are particularly interested in candidates who understand modern short-form editing, including captions, music, transitions, hooks, pacing, B-roll, and storytelling.

Schedule & Flexibility

The normal schedule will average approximately 4–6 hours per day .

However, this role requires flexibility.

There may be days when you are asked to join the team for:

• Conferences and exhibitions
• Investor or board meetings
• Client visits
• Networking events
• Company dinners or activities
• Content shoots
• Important company announcements or launches

Some of these may occur outside normal office hours.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a consistent part of the Urban AI team rather than someone looking only for occasional freelance shoots.

Our goal is not to create overly polished corporate content every day.

We want a combination of:

Authentic startup content + Gen Z social media + premium business content + founder personal branding + behind-the-scenes storytelling.

We want people online to feel like they are following the journey of Urban AI as the company grows.
