We're looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially minded Account Manager - Petrol, Convenience & Travel to join our growing Alternate Channels team. This is a unique opportunity to manage a diverse customer portfolio spanning Petrol & Convenience, Travel Retail, wholesalers and emerging channels. Reporting to the National Account Manager, you'll play a key role in accelerating the growth of some of Arnott's most exciting and strategic customer partnerships. You'll work with customers across convenience retail, travel environments and wholesale networks, helping transform existing relationships into deeper, more strategic partnerships while bringing innovation and new growth opportunities to life. This is a role for someone who enjoys building, innovating and creating new opportunities. You'll be empowered to think differently, challenge convention and help shape the future growth of the channel through a high degree of ownership and autonomy. Based at our North Strathfield office and offers exposure to customers and channel partners including 7-Eleven, Ampol, BP, Qantas, Travel Retail operators, wholesalers and other strategic channel partners. About You You're curious, commercially savvy and thrive in environments where you can build something bigger than what's already there. You know how to turn transactional relationships into strategic partnerships and enjoy finding opportunities hidden within existing customer networks. You're equally comfortable analysing performance data as you are presenting ideas, influencing stakeholders and bringing customers on the journey. Most importantly, you're someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, identifying low-hanging fruit, solving problems and creating opportunities that deliver value for both your customers and the business. You will likely bring: 3+ years' experience in FMCG sales, account management, business development or commercial roles. Experience managing Petrol & Convenience customers such as Ampol, BP, 7-Eleven, OTR, Reddy Express or similar channel customers. Exposure to wholesale, distributor, travel retail or alternate channels will be highly regarded. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build compelling business cases. Proven success growing customer partnerships and delivering commercial outcomes. Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills. A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to make decisions and bring new ideas forward. The ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution. What Your Days Look Like Building and executing customer business plans that drive profitable growth. Developing trusted partnerships with customers across convenience, travel and wholesale channels. Identifying ranging, distribution, pricing and promotional opportunities that unlock growth. Leading customer reviews, planning sessions and Joint Business Planning discussions. Introducing innovation and new product opportunities into market. Working cross-functionally with Category, Marketing, Supply and Demand Planning teams to deliver customer outcomes. Identifying untapped opportunities within existing customer relationships and converting them into long-term growth. Monitoring performance and using insights to build stronger customer strategies. Representing iconic Arnott's brands across a broad and diverse customer network.
