This includes assisting in the setup and configuration of IAM tools, participating in the creation of access control policies, and contributing to the basic architecture of IAM systems. The role involves collaboration with senior team members to ensure effective integration of IAM solutions with existing systems and assisting in troubleshooting and resolving entry-level IAM-related issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the deployment of identity management systems and tools. Assist with directory services administration, including group management, organizational unit structure, and directory hygiene tasks. Support the configuration and maintenance of role-based access control models and access request workflows. Help in managing user account creation and access rights assignments. Engage in basic scripting for automated user account provisioning and identity management. Contribute to routine audits and compliance checks of user access management systems. Assist in resolving entry-level issues related to access and identity controls. Support the documentation process for user access policies and procedures. Participate in team discussions on user access strategy and operations. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate access control solutions. Assist in monitoring the performance of identity management systems and reporting irregularities. Support user inquiries and problem resolution related to access control systems. Other Functions: Communicate effectively with team members and other departments on security-related issues. Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Follow established security procedures and policies diligently. Document all actions and decisions related to account and access management. Exhibit a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new security tools and practices. Collaborate with peers to solve basic security challenges. Display attention to detail in all aspects of security operations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree and one (1) year of progressively responsible experience in IT engineering or identity and access management engineering roles or three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in IT engineering or identity and access management engineering roles. Familiarity with scripting concepts in PowerShell and/or Python. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field. CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900, or equivalent industry standard information security certification. Practical experience with Active Directory and domain management. Experience with Identity Management solutions. Travel Required Travel is expected to be between 0% - 10% of the time. Salary Range: $88,603.00 - $132,905.00 / Year
