In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize internal automation tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Duties Develop and maintain internal automation tools using Python and Claude to optimize e-commerce operations. Design scalable system architectures that support high-volume data processing and real-time analytics. Build and enhance RESTful APIs for seamless integration across various internal systems and third-party services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. Implement best practices in software engineering including design patterns, microservices architecture, version control (GitHub, SVN), and CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment. Contribute to system design discussions focusing on scalability, security (RBAC), and cloud infrastructure (AWS). Utilize JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express for front-end or back-end development as needed. Ensure systems are optimized for performance, security, and maintainability by applying principles of system design for system development. Conduct code reviews, write comprehensive documentation, and participate in Agile development cycles to deliver high-quality software efficiently. Experience Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, C++, C, or Java. Hands-on experience designing scalable systems using microservices architecture within cloud environments like AWS. Deep understanding of RESTful API development, web development frameworks (React Express), and front-end/back-end integration. Familiarity with IT infrastructure management including Linux environments, version control systems (GitHub, SVN), and CI/CD tools. Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or SQL-based solutions for data storage and retrieval. Experience working within Agile software development methodologies to foster collaboration and iterative progress. Background in system design for system development emphasizing scalability, security (RBAC), and performance optimization. Bonus skills include familiarity with quantum engineering principles, VBA scripting, JavaScript frameworks, or other programming languages relevant to complex system integrations.
