HVAC Technician
About the Role We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems across company-owned and leased/rented properties, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation in line with HSE and company standards. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and reactive maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems , including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, DX systems, split, window and package AC units. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC faults, cooling issues, abnormal noise, vibration and equipment breakdowns. Carry out repairs, testing, commissioning and installation of HVAC equipment and systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals and floor plans. Execute scheduled maintenance and respond to work orders and breakdowns. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work reports, timesheets and spare-parts inventory. Report breakdowns and technical issues to the Supervisor/Maintenance Manager. Ensure all work complies with HSE policies, technical standards and company procedures. Maintain professional relationships with clients, tenants, colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; ITI Certificate/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning preferred. Minimum 3 years of relevant HVAC maintenance experience , preferably in building or facilities management. Good practical knowledge of HVAC & R systems, chillers, refrigeration, basic electrical systems and HVAC controls. Knowledge of BMS/DDC is an advantage. Ability to read wiring diagrams and floor plans and carry out effective troubleshooting. Good written and spoken English ; Arabic is an advantage. Valid GCC driving licence . Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and maintain high HSE and service standards.
