We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team! In this pivotal role, you will drive the recruitment process for skilled trades positions, including plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians. Your expertise will help connect top-tier talent with our organization’s growing needs, ensuring we maintain a high standard of excellence across all projects. You will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts, building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and utilizing innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified professionals. Your proactive approach and passion for talent management will be instrumental in supporting our company's success and growth.

Duties

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for skilled trades roles, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using social media marketing (recruitment), job boards, industry networks, and campus recruitment initiatives to attract high-quality candidates.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for each position.
• Utilize talent management software and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and refine recruitment strategies.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through cold calling, research, lead generation, and ongoing talent pool development.
• Support onboarding processes by coordinating employee orientation sessions and facilitating smooth transitions for new hires.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in high-volume technical recruiting or external recruiting within skilled trades or similar industries.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills to engage candidates effectively.
• Demonstrated ability in full-cycle recruiting including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
• Strong research skills combined with cold calling experience to generate leads for hard-to-fill roles.
• Knowledge of technical recruiting practices specific to skilled trades positions is highly desirable.

Work Location: Remote

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
