HVAC Field Operations Manager & License Holder
Overview We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager and HVAC License Holder who is eager to roll up their sleeves and help us continue to build something special from the ground up. This is not just another manager job—this is a unique opportunity to shape, lead, and run an HVAC and Plumbing operation you’d be proud to call your own. We've grown the business exponentially and need a skilled leader to help us with call by call management, daily execution of sold projects, and help us elevate processes and training to gear up for the next round of growth. We went from $0 to 800K in year 1 (2025), we're on pace for $2.5M in year 2 (2026), and with a team of 10 field staff, should be able to grow to 5M in (2027). I'm looking for the leader who can help me take us there! Currently this has been 95% residential work. But we are looking to build out a commercial division, so bonus points if you know commercial blueprints/buildouts and more bonus points if you have some plumbing technical knowledge. What You’ll Do This is NOT an executive, feet on the desk roll.... Must understand how to maximize all selling opportunities..... ie how to do a proper tune up and present options. As well as how to diagnose and present options. You'll do ride alongs teaching the entire team how to write options and close jobs, help lead projects on the ground as needed, and be the technical expert for the new HVAC guys. Conduct call by call coaching and training as needed to ensure we maximize results and the team has the best routes and our setup for success. Help recruit and interview new AC technicians and Plumbers to join our team! Train and mentor junior techs to ensure technical excellence and consistent service delivery. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and local regulations. Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and material usage. Collaborate with the team on scheduling, operations, and long-term planning. What We’re Looking For HVAC License Holder with Proven experience in Residential and Commercial operations! This person needs to not be afraid to jump in a van and go help when needed! And be in front of the computer monitoring call by call performance when needed. Natural leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and growing a team. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think operationally and help build systems, processes, and a team from scratch.
