We've built a strong international logistics network across ocean, air and road freight and we're now investing heavily in growth. As we scale, we need someone to build the people function that supports that growth. You'll be VinWorld's first HR hire, responsible for standing up the policies, processes, and infrastructure that will support this company as it grows, and for shaping how we hire, develop, and take care of our people. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build VinWorld's HR function from the ground up — policies, processes, and infrastructure that don't exist yet Own recruiting and onboarding, from job requisitions through a new hire's first day and beyond Manage benefits and payroll administration, and evaluate/improve the systems behind them Serve as the go-to for employee relations — the person people trust to handle things fairly and confidentially Develop core HR policies Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment law Partner directly with leadership to shape people strategy as the company scales Set the direction for talent acquisition — how VinWorld finds, evaluates, and wins the people it needs to keep growing WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR This role is built for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building, not just maintaining: Prior experience in HR, ideally including exposure to building or significantly shaping an HR function, not just operating within an existing one Working knowledge across core HR disciplines: recruiting, employee relations, benefits/payroll, compliance, and policy development Comfortable operating without a playbook — you can create structure where none currently exists Strong communicator who can earn trust across every level of the company, from new hires to leadership Highly organized and detail-oriented — the systems you build need to hold up as the company scales Genuine interest in logistics, transportation, or a fast-moving operational business is a plus WHAT YOU'LL GAIN Real Ownership: This isn't a role where you inherit someone else's system — you build it, and it carries your fingerprints.
