Human Resources Generalist
Job Summary The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day human resources operations of the organization. This role handles a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, HR administration, employee engagement, and compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Staffing Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordination of hiring requirements. Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements. Facilitate pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities for new hires. Maintain accurate recruitment records and monitor hiring progress. Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns, policies, and procedures. Assist in addressing employee grievances, workplace concerns, and disciplinary matters. Promote positive employee relations and a healthy workplace environment. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters. HR Administration Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases. Prepare HR reports, letters, forms, and other employment-related documentation. Monitor employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related records. Assist with payroll-related information and coordination with relevant departments. Performance Management Assist in implementing and monitoring employee performance appraisal processes. Coordinate performance review schedules and documentation. Support managers in addressing performance-related concerns and development needs. Employee Engagement & Development Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training programs, and company events. Support employee development and learning initiatives. Help implement programs that promote employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture. Policies & Compliance Assist in implementing and communicating company HR policies and procedures. Ensure HR practices are aligned with applicable labor laws and regulations. Maintain proper documentation for HR-related compliance requirements. Assist with audits and HR process improvements when needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in human resources or a similar role; experience as an HR Generalist is preferred. Working knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and labor standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. HRIS experience is an advantage.
