Human Resources Generalist
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. Your energetic approach will help streamline HR processes, support employee engagement, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Under the general supervision of the Controller, the HR assistant will be responsible for assisting in processing New Hire applications, Processing Medical Benefits Enrollments for Company Employees, Processing verification Employment Forms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the onboarding process of providing/reviewing new hire packets Spearhead annual enrollment kickoff. Prepare annual open enrollment documents Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, and workers' compensation claims while ensuring regulatory compliance management. Company announcement, event coordinator, ESOP educator and committee involvement Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management skills while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Ensure adherence to employment & labor law requirements including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and other legal standards. Skills Experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of employment law in talent management. Skilled in benefits administration, payroll processing, personnel administration, and HR legal compliance. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead organizational design and workforce planning initiatives. Excellent communication skills for effective employee relations and training delivery. Competence in Excel data analysis for HR metrics reporting and decision-making support. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, FMLA policies, and conflict management techniques.
