Human Resource Manager
POSCO Eco & Challenge Co., Ltd. (POSCO E&C) is looking for an experienced HR Manager who can take the lead in our day-to-day HR operations and work closely with both management and employees. This role covers the full range of HR activities, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, benefits, HR administration, and labor compliance. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable handling both routine HR matters and more sensitive employee concerns. The ideal candidate has solid experience in the construction or engineering industry and understands the demands of working in a project-based environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, payroll, benefits, and employee separation. Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring salaries, overtime, leave, deductions, and statutory contributions are accurate and processed on time. Coordinate with Finance and payroll providers on salary payments, government contributions, payroll reports, and other payroll-related matters. Handle employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and other employee relations issues. Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE requirements, and company policies. Lead recruitment and manpower planning based on project and office requirements. Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR policies, memoranda, notices, and other HR documents. Manage employee benefits and statutory requirements involving SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and DOLE. Maintain accurate and confidential employee and payroll records. Coordinate training, employee development, performance management, and employee engagement activities. Work closely with Project Managers, Department Heads, Finance, Administration, and other teams on HR and manpower concerns. Provide practical HR advice to management on employee relations, labor matters, payroll, and company policies. Coordinate with government agencies and external partners on HR, labor, employment, and immigration matters when necessary. Help maintain a professional, respectful, and positive workplace for all employees. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. At least 10 years of HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or a multinational company. Strong hands-on experience in payroll, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR operations. Good working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, payroll practices, and statutory requirements. Experience handling SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and DOLE requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word; experience with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage. Able to work independently while maintaining good coordination with management and project teams. Willing to work on-site in Alabang, Muntinlupa. Preferred Experience with a Korean or multinational company is an advantage. Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, railway, civil works, or EPC projects is preferred. Experience handling DOLE, Bureau of Immigration (BI), Alien Employment Permit (AEP), visa, and other employment-related government requirements is an advantage. Additional HR training or certification in labor relations and Philippine employment practices is a plus. Experience: HR: 10 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
