The candidate will be responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, client standards, and applicable safety regulations. Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, plans, and procedures. - Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, client requirements, and Oil & Gas industry safety standards. - Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. - Monitor permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, incident reporting, and investigations. - Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions. - Lead and guide HSE officers and site safety teams. - Coordinate with project management, clients, and subcontractors on HSE matters. - Prepare HSE reports, maintain documentation, and monitor safety performance. - Ensure emergency response plans and safety training programs are implemented. - Promote a strong safety culture across the project site. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. - Minimum 10 years of relevant HSE experience in the Oil & Gas industry. - Previous experience as an HSE Manager on Oil & Gas projects. - NEBOSH certification is mandatory; additional safety certifications are an advantage. - Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, PTW, and HSE management systems. - Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills. - Previous Qatar Oil & Gas project experience is preferred. - Ability to manage HSE teams and coordinate with clients and project stakeholders.
