OREST Express is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee support. Previous experience in the trucking or logistics industry is required. Key Responsibilities - Manage the hiring process, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and onboarding. - Recruit CDL drivers and office employees. - Communicate clearly with candidates about job requirements, compensation, and next steps. - Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation. - Coordinate with safety and operations teams on driver qualification and hiring requirements. - Support employees and handle sensitive information professionally. - Track recruiting sources, applicant quality, hiring costs, and hiring outcomes. - Prepare reports and recommend practical improvements to recruitment. - Collaborate with marketing on recruitment campaigns and employer visibility. Required Qualifications - Previous HR or recruiting experience within trucking or logistics. - Understanding of U.S. trucking operations and CDL driver recruitment. - Excellent written and spoken English. - Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and DOT/FMCSA requirements related to driver hiring and qualification. - Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and online recruiting platforms. - Ability to maintain reports, analyze recruiting performance, and use data to improve results. - Strong communication, organization, and follow-through. - Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and handle confidential matters with discretion.
