Ensure strict alignment with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) mandates. Japanese Corporate Alignment: Adapt Japanese corporate headquarters (HQ) directives into local HR policies. Champion 5S workplace organization, Kaizen (continuous improvement), and Ho-Ren-So (Report-Inform-Consult) standards. Mass Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee high-volume sourcing pipelines for seasonal or project-based factory production operators, assembly line workers, and engineering staff. Shift & Compensation Administration: Coordinate complex, multi-shift plant attendance tracking, holiday premium pay, hazard payouts, and shuttle/meal benefits through automated HRIS or Payroll software. Workplace Safety & Employee Welfare: Partner with the health and safety department to handle occupational safety protocols, emergency responses, and regular physical health checks. Qualification Standards Education & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or an Engineering field with subsequent HR leadership experience. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly plant setup, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or section head capacity. Industry Background: Proven experience dealing with PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority) rules, DOLE compliance audits, and third-party manpower staffing agencies is highly prioritized. Skills & Competencies Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Philippine Labor Code (Book 5 on Labor Relations and Book 6 on Post-Employment). Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like attrition rates and absenteeism trackers. Cultural Competency: Strong adaptability to Japanese organizational culture. Prior experience reporting directly to Japanese expatriates or cross-functional global teams is a massive advantage. Operational Agility: Resilience to operate in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with a 6-day workweek schedule (Monday to Saturday) common to manufacturing zones in Laguna. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English and Tagalog communication skills for employee orientations, union panels, and management reporting. Basic knowledge of Japanese corporate business phrases is preferred but not required. Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
