Overview As we have recently opened our doors, we are building a team of passionate professionals who share our vision for excellence and collaboration. We are now seeking a dedicated Human Resources & Recruitment Manager to lead our HR function, support our recruitment strategy, and cultivate a positive, high-performance culture from the ground up. The Role The HR & Recruitment Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of our new clinic. You will be responsible for leading recruitment, developing HR processes and policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and embedding a strong, values-led culture across the organisation. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a start-up environment and is passionate about building engaged, high-performing teams. The position reports directly to the Clinic Owner. Key Responsibilities Main focus on leading the end-to-end recruitment process , from job design and advertising through to selection and onboarding. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with our company values and regulatory requirements. Partner with senior management to create a supportive, high-trust working culture. Manage all HR documentation including employment contracts, offer letters, and employee records, ensuring GDPR compliance. Oversee employee relations matters, providing guidance on performance management, grievance, and disciplinary procedures. Support line managers in understanding and applying HR policies and employment law effectively. Develop and maintain training and development programmes to support professional growth and performance excellence. Coordinate payroll changes, leave management, and benefits administration in partnership with the external finance team. Design and lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition. Contribute to the clinic’s leadership team, supporting business growth and workforce planning. About You Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor, ideally within healthcare, dental, or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. A track record of successful recruitment and talent development in a growing business. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels. Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable – able to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operations. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
