The Opportunity: Currently, our Abbotsford office is searching for an experienced, organized, and driven Recruiter & Office Administrator . The successful applicant will have impeccable references and will work directly with the President and the executive management team. This is a dynamic, hybrid role. During peak project phases, the primary focus will be high-volume, fast-paced recruitment of skilled electricians. During slower hiring periods, the role transitions smoothly into providing vital office administration, assisting with accounting tasks, and supporting the executive team. This is a full-time position, available immediately. Responsibilities include: Talent Acquisition & Employee Management: Sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding candidates within a highly competitive skilled trades market Managing employee life cycles (transfers, layoffs, and terminations) Driving employee retention, training, and development initiatives Handling day-to-day employee relations Office Administration & Compliance: Assisting Senior Management and Project Leaders with daily operations Drafting, reviewing, and managing employment contracts Ensuring ongoing insurance and safety compliance Supporting the accounting department and performing other duties as required The ideal candidate will possess: A Degree/Diploma in Business, Operations Management, Human Resources, or Paralegal studies (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) 5+ years of relevant professional experience Experience working with construction trades labour, project management professionals, and administrative staff A strong understanding of the construction industry and employment contracts An outgoing, highly organized, and team-oriented personality Compensation: Status offers a competitive compensation package that will commensurate with your education and experience level, along with benefits. #INDLP Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Paid time off Flexible language requirement: French not required Ability to commute/relocate: Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person
