The Role We are looking for an adaptable, articulate HR Officer who can seamlessly pivot between high-stakes recruiting and foundational HR operations as company priorities evolve. This is a fluid, well-rounded HR role. Your focus will naturally shift depending on business needs—during heavy growth pushes, you will drive talent acquisition to hunt and close high-caliber candidates (such as Growth Managers on substantial packages). During operational cycles, your priorities will pivot to internal HR workflows, employee lifecycle management, and compliance. We want someone smart, presentable, and organized who wants to build a broad HR skillset in a fast-paced fintech, rather than being trapped in a single administrative silo. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Closing: Own end-to-end recruitment for growth, sales, and core operational roles. Source passive candidates, pitch Buhay's vision, evaluate candidates for polish and grit, and manage pipeline targets. HR Operations & Lifecycle: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, contract management, 201 file maintenance, and HRIS administration. Payroll & Benefits Coordination: Prepare payroll inputs (attendance, leaves, lates, commissions) for Finance and administer mandatory statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR). Compliance & Employee Relations: Handle Incident Reports (IRs), Notices to Explain (NTEs), and employee relations in accordance with Philippine labor laws and DOLE due process. Policy & Culture Execution: Help establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support performance evaluations, and build a high-ownership culture focused on real outcomes. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience across Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or HR Generalist roles (preferably in fintech, tech, or fast-scaling environments). Exceptional communication skills—polished, confident, and presentable when speaking with senior candidates or leadership. Working knowledge of core HR operations, basic labor compliance, contracts, and handling internal documentation. Highly adaptable mindset—comfortable shifting gears between candidate headhunting and administrative execution. Based in Metro Manila and available for a hybrid work schedule in BGC.
