HR Manager

The successful candidate will help ensure that oWe are looking to hire an experienced HR Manager to support and develop our growing workforce. The HR Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, apprenticeships, benefits administration, compliance and employee engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will help ensure that our HR Practices support our core values of: We Innovate We Collaborate We Build Trust We Deliver The role will be based at our Head Office and manufacturing facility in Coulsdon. Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment and onboarding documentation. Conduct Right to Work checks and maintain employee records. Coordinate induction programmes for new starters. Manage probation review processes and support line managers. Employee Relations Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees. Support absence management, disciplinary, grievance and capability procedures. Prepare HR documentation, letters and meeting notes. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies. Monitor employee wellbeing and support wellbeing initiatives. HR Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems. Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements. Manage DBS checks, driving licence checks, visa records and training records. Support HR audits and ISO compliance requirements. Produce HR reports and KPI information for senior management. Apprenticeships & Early Careers Act as the primary HR contact for apprentices. Coordinate apprenticeship reviews with training providers. Monitor apprenticeship funding and compliance requirements. Support apprentice rotations and development plans. Assist with graduate, trainee and work experience programmes. Learning & Development Coordinate mandatory and developmental training programmes. Support annual appraisal and performance review processes. Identify training needs and development opportunities.
