HR Manager

GMS BPO · Manila

About Us GMS BPO is a fast-growing business process outsourcing company based in the Philippines, operating directly for Australia's largest aggregator. We run a lean, high-performance operation. We expect the same from our people. The Role We are hiring an HR Manager to own the full HR function. This is not a support role. You will build and run everything: systems, processes, culture, and compliance. You report to the Senior HR Manager. We need someone who has done this before at scale, does not need hand-holding, and brings structure where there is none. ResponsibilitiesPeople Operations Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, movements, exits, and off-boarding. Handle all employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes with fairness and urgency. Maintain accurate employee records at all times. Payroll and Compliance Own payroll processing — accurate and on time, every time. Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor law (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG). Manage statutory reporting and government filings. HRIS and Digital Transformation Implement and manage a cloud-based HRIS. Move all HR processes online — no paper, no manual workflows. Own HR data integrity and reporting dashboards. Culture and Engagement Build a high-performance, values-driven culture that bridges Filipino and Australian work expectations. Drive employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction programs. Partner with team leads to maintain a professional, accountable workplace. Talent and Workforce Planning Lead recruitment for operational and support roles. Build pipelines for critical positions. Define and maintain role frameworks and compensation bands. Requirements 10 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or managerial capacity. Degree from a reputable Philippine university (top-tier preferred). Strong background in BPO or shared services supporting international clients. Proven experience implementing HRIS platforms (e.g., Sprout, Salarium, BambooHR, or equivalent). Deep working knowledge of Philippine labor law and statutory compliance. Experience supporting or working with Australian or Western-based stakeholders is a strong advantage. Excellent written and spoken English — you will communicate directly with Australian leadership. What We Expect You take ownership. No excuses. You build systems that work without you needing to be present. You are data-driven. If you cannot measure it, you fix that first. You understand BPO culture and know how to keep people motivated in a demanding environment. You are a straight communicator. No noise, no politics. Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
