HR Manager
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager with at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the timeshare, vacation ownership, hospitality, or related industry . The HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, employee engagement, and HR administration. The successful candidate should understand the fast-paced, target-driven nature of timeshare operations and be comfortable supporting sales, marketing, resort operations, and corporate teams. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Management Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company objectives. Manage day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to management and employees. Ensure HR practices are consistent, fair, and compliant with applicable labor laws and company policies. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. Recruitment & Staffing Lead recruitment and selection for sales, marketing, resort, administrative, and management positions. Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in a competitive timeshare environment. Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage the onboarding process. Monitor staffing levels and work with department heads to address workforce requirements. Support workforce planning and succession planning for key positions. Employee Relations Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace concerns and HR matters. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially. Promote a positive, respectful, and high-performance workplace culture. Ensure consistent application of company policies and disciplinary procedures. Performance Management Manage and improve the company's performance appraisal and goal-setting processes. Coach managers on performance improvement, employee development, and corrective action. Monitor employee performance trends and recommend appropriate interventions. Training & Development Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs. Support onboarding and orientation programs for new employees. Develop or coordinate training related to customer service, sales effectiveness, leadership, compliance, and workplace policies. Promote continuous professional development and career growth. Compensation & Benefits Administer employee compensation, benefits, leave, and incentive programs in coordination with relevant teams. Support salary reviews, promotions, and incentive structures. Ensure payroll-related HR information is accurate and submitted on time. Help maintain competitive compensation practices appropriate for the timeshare and hospitality market. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with applicable employment, labor, health and safety, and workplace regulations. Maintain up-to-date HR policies and employee documentation. Assist with audits, government requirements, and employment-related reporting. Manage HR-related risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Employee Engagement Develop initiatives that improve employee morale, engagement, retention, and productivity. Monitor employee turnover and identify trends, particularly within sales and other high-volume departments. Organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer focus, and professionalism. Timeshare Industry Responsibilities Understand the unique HR requirements of timeshare and vacation ownership operations , including sales-driven environments and resort operations. Support recruitment and retention strategies for high-volume timeshare sales teams. Partner with Sales and Operations leadership to address staffing, performance, attendance, and employee engagement challenges. Understand the importance of customer experience, ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct. Help develop incentive and recognition programs that encourage performance while supporting company standards and compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of HR management or progressive HR experience. Previous experience in timeshare, vacation ownership, hospitality, resort, travel, or related industries strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of HR principles, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and labor compliance. Experience managing or supervising HR staff is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
