About the Role We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to manage recruitment, employee operations, payroll coordination, performance management, HR policies and employee relations. The ideal candidate should be organised, commercially aware and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can manage day-to-day HR operations while also building strong processes as the organisation grows. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Hiring Manage end-to-end recruitment across different departments. Understand hiring requirements from department heads. Source, screen and interview candidates. Coordinate interviews, offers and joining dates. Maintain recruitment trackers for open positions and candidate progress. Conduct reference and background verification where required. Improve offer acceptance and employee joining rates. Build candidate pipelines for frequently hired roles. Employee Onboarding Prepare offer letters, employment agreements and joining documentation. Ensure all employee documentation is complete and verified. Coordinate induction and onboarding. Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files. Coordinate access, equipment and departmental onboarding for new employees. Attendance & Payroll Maintain attendance, leave and shift records. Prepare and verify monthly payroll inputs. Coordinate salary revisions, incentives, deductions and reimbursements. Ensure employees are added to payroll only after required approvals and documentation. Reconcile employee headcount with payroll records. Coordinate full and final settlements for exiting employees. Performance Management Manage probation reviews and employee confirmations. Help managers establish KRAs and KPIs. Coordinate regular performance reviews. Maintain performance documentation. Support managers with performance improvement plans and disciplinary matters. HR Policies & Compliance Create and maintain HR policies, SOPs and employee handbooks. Manage policies relating to attendance, leave, working hours, holidays and workplace conduct. Ensure compliance with applicable employment and labour regulations. Coordinate statutory HR requirements with internal teams or external consultants. Maintain employee information securely and confidentially. Employee Relations Act as a point of contact for employee HR queries and concerns. Handle grievances and workplace disputes. Support disciplinary investigations where required. Promote a professional and positive workplace culture. Conduct exit interviews and identify recurring employee issues. Employee Offboarding Manage resignations and termination documentation. Monitor notice periods and handovers. Coordinate return of company property. Ensure system and account access is removed appropriately. Complete exit clearance and final settlement processes. Issue relieving and experience letters where applicable. HR Reporting Prepare regular HR reports covering: Total headcount New joiners Employee exits Open vacancies Time to hire Offer-to-joining ratio Attendance and absenteeism Employee turnover Payroll changes Probation reviews Employee performance matters Requirements 4–8 years of experience in HR, People Operations or a similar role. Strong recruitment and interviewing skills. Good understanding of HR processes and employment practices. Experience managing payroll inputs, attendance and employee documentation. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership. Experience in a fast-growing organisation or startup is preferred. Pay: ₹15,662.43 - ₹40,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Work Location: In person
