HR Head
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager / Head – Human Resources with 10+ years of experience, preferably within the QSR, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or FMCG retail environment . The role will be responsible for developing and executing the overall HR strategy, ensuring effective manpower planning, recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, statutory compliance, and talent development across corporate and restaurant operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, multi-location business environment and have strong experience in managing frontline and managerial talent. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Strategy & Business Partnering Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business growth and operational objectives. Partner with the leadership and operations teams on people-related initiatives. Build scalable HR processes suitable for a growing QSR / food business. Provide HR insights and workforce analytics to senior management. 2. Manpower Planning & Recruitment Lead manpower planning for restaurants, kitchens, production units, warehouses, and corporate functions. Own end-to-end recruitment for frontline, supervisory, managerial, and leadership positions. Develop high-volume recruitment strategies for restaurant and operational manpower. Build strong recruitment channels through agencies, job portals, employee referrals, institutes, and local hiring networks. Improve hiring turnaround time, quality of hire, and retention. 3. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure smooth execution of HR policies, processes, and systems across locations. Maintain compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. Oversee attendance, leave, payroll coordination, employee documentation, and HR MIS. Establish appropriate HR controls and audit processes across restaurants and locations. 4. Employee Engagement & Retention Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention. Identify key causes of frontline attrition and implement corrective measures. Drive employee recognition, rewards, welfare, and engagement programs. Build a positive employee culture across restaurants and operational teams. 5. Performance Management Design and manage the performance appraisal process. Implement KRAs/KPIs for corporate and operational employees. Work with business leaders on performance improvement plans and talent reviews. Develop succession plans for critical roles. 6. Learning & Development Identify training requirements across restaurant operations and corporate functions. Develop induction and onboarding programs for new employees. Drive leadership development and supervisory training. Strengthen internal career progression and promotion frameworks. 7. Employee Relations Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution. Maintain healthy employee relations across restaurants and support functions. Work closely with operations managers to resolve people-related issues effectively. 8. HR Analytics & MIS Track and report key HR metrics including: Attrition and retention Headcount and manpower productivity Recruitment TAT Absenteeism Cost per hire Employee engagement Training effectiveness Present regular HR dashboards and actionable insights to management. Experience managing HR for multiple locations / restaurants / operational units is highly preferred. Strong exposure to frontline workforce recruitment and retention. Should have demonstrated experience partnering with senior business and operations leaders. Should be commercially aware, hands-on, data-driven, and capable of building HR systems from the ground up. MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
