HR Generalist (Contract to Hire)
Fetch Staffing Solutions is filling a Human Resource Generalist role for a large non-profit client in Atlanta (midtown) on a contract to hire basis. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in the office. Pay rate is up to $46/hr DOE. Strong employee relations experience and HRIS aptitude is required. Human Resource Generalist In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective internal client relationships, programs, policies and procedures to help drive operational efficiency and compliance, and to cultivate a productive, professional, friendly, and respectful workplace. Key focus areas include employee relations, HRIS, performance management, benefits enrollment, learning and development, and offboarding. Duties and Responsibilities: Help foster and drive a positive relationship between Human Resources and internal staff. Acts as HR consultant between management and employees to drive a positive culture and work environment aligned to the organizations' policies, practices and processes. Utilize salary surveys and preparing management data for merit process. Partner with talent acquisition leads to ensure that diverse staffing needs across the organization are understood and achieved. Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of employee policies and procedures. Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees. Handles employee relations counseling issues and internal investigations when needed. Ability to conduct HR training on various HR issues. Experience with performance and talent management processes and initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Over 5 years of broad Human Resources support experience required. Nonprofit experience helpful. SPHR or PHR preferred but not required. Broad experience across all aspects of Human Resources with heavy emphasis on employee relations and related documentation / reporting required. Extensive HRIS experience required. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus. Experience in recruiting / talent acquisition, benefits and performance management helpful. Demonstrated experience with total rewards, compensation and benefits programs. A high degree of competence with Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of common IT tasks (maintaining passwords, using remote access, basic administration, email, etc.), familiarity with SharePoint is a plus. Experience servicing an internal customer base with a high degree of focus on customer service. Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills. Excellent organizational and data management skills. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
