In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting HR systems to deliver seamless employee experiences. This position will handle leave administration and workers comp claims to resolution. Your expertise will help foster a positive workplace environment by administering benefits, maintaining HR data integrity, and providing exceptional support to employees and management alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success through strategic benefits administration and HR compliance. Remote work within the following states: VA, DC, SC, NC, TN, MD, DE, or FL. Responsibilities Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act). Manage benefits enrollment processes using HR systems using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate data collection and timely updates. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, HR legal standards, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other regulatory requirements. Support payroll management by coordinating with payroll systems. Handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining data integrity across HRIS platforms. Conduct employee orientation sessions related to benefits offerings and annual open enrollment. Collaborate with internal teams on regulatory reporting requirements and maintain documentation related to contracts, HR legal compliance, and benefits administration. Requirements Proven experience in benefits administration, leave administration and workers compensation. Strong knowledge of health insurance plans, workers' compensation procedures, Medicare regulations, and employment & labor law. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now. Excellent communication skills for effective and cross-team collaboration. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Familiarity handling unemployment claims. A proactive mindset with the ability to analyze data effectively for decision-making purposes within HR functions.
