The ideal candidate should be organized, approachable, disciplined, and capable of handling recruitment, employee coordination, attendance, performance management, HR documentation, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Hiring Manage the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding. Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and other channels. Screen profiles, conduct initial HR discussions, and coordinate interviews. Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment reports. Coordinate offer letters, joining formalities, and documentation. 2. Employee Onboarding & Documentation Conduct joining formalities and HR inductions. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Ensure employees complete required documentation and agreements. Explain company policies, procedures, attendance, leave, and other HR guidelines. 3. Attendance & Leave Management Monitor daily attendance, late coming, punch-in/punch-out, and absenteeism. Track leave applications and ensure employees follow the approved leave process. Coordinate with managers regarding attendance and leave-related concerns. Support payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance and leave information. 4. Performance Management Coordinate monthly/periodic performance reviews and appraisal processes. Track employee KPIs and performance-related documentation. Work with managers to identify performance gaps and improvement areas. Maintain appraisal and performance records. 5. Employee Relations Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries. Address employee concerns professionally and coordinate with management when required. Support disciplinary processes and ensure proper documentation. Promote a professional, respectful, and positive workplace culture. 6. HR Policies & SOPs Implement and communicate company HR policies. Develop and maintain HR SOPs, guidelines, and processes. Ensure employees understand and follow company policies. Regularly monitor policy compliance and report concerns to management. 7. Payroll & Compliance Support Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for monthly payroll processing. Verify attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, and other payroll inputs. Maintain accurate employee and payroll-related records. Support statutory and company compliance requirements. 8. Employee Engagement Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and events. Support employee recognition and appreciation initiatives. Encourage effective communication between employees and management. 9. HR Reporting Prepare regular HR reports covering: Headcount Recruitment status Attendance Leave Attrition Employee performance Training Employee engagement Other HR metrics Maintain HR trackers and ensure data is updated regularly. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in HR or a similar role. Good understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and documentation skills. Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally. Strong follow-up and coordination skills. Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic HR tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualities Proactive and responsible approach. Strong attention to detail. Firm but approachable communication style. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organization.
