JOB DESCRIPTION Position: HR Officer Assistant Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Manager / HR Officer Employment Level: Junior / Entry-Level HR Experience Required: 1–2 Years JOB SUMMARY The HR Officer Assistant provides support in the day-to-day Human Resources operations of the company. The position requires general knowledge of HR functions, particularly Compensation and Benefits, Labor Relations, Employee Engagement, and Recruitment . The role assists in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR programs, coordinating employee concerns, and ensuring that HR processes are properly implemented. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Compensation & Benefits Assist in payroll preparation and validation of employee attendance and time records. Assist in monitoring employee benefits, government-mandated contributions, and other company benefits. Maintain accurate employee compensation and benefits records. Assist employees with basic inquiries regarding salary, benefits, leave, and other HR concerns. Coordinate with Accounting/Payroll regarding payroll discrepancies and employee concerns. Assist in preparing HR reports and compensation-related documents. 2. Labor Relations & Employee Relations Assist in handling employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues. Support HR in documenting employee incidents, violations, and disciplinary cases. Assist in preparing notices, memoranda, and other employee-related documents. Help ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of employee and labor-related matters. Coordinate with HR Management regarding employee relations concerns and case documentation. 3. Recruitment & Hiring Assist in sourcing and screening applicants based on approved job requirements. Conduct initial phone or online screening when required. Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers. Maintain recruitment trackers and applicant records. Assist in preparing job postings and recruitment materials. Support pre-employment requirements, job offers, and onboarding activities. Maintain an updated database of applicants and potential candidates. 4. Employee Engagement Assist in planning and implementing employee engagement activities. Support company events, employee programs, recognition activities, and team-building initiatives. Assist in conducting employee surveys and gathering feedback. Help monitor employee concerns and recommend appropriate HR interventions. Promote positive employee relations and a professional workplace environment. 5. HR Administration Maintain and update employee 201 files and HR records. Prepare HR reports, trackers, certificates, forms, and other HR documents. Assist in onboarding and orientation of newly hired employees. Assist in employee clearance, resignation, and offboarding processes. Ensure proper filing and documentation of HR transactions. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by the HR Manager or Management. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field . With 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources . General knowledge of HR functions and processes. Basic knowledge of Compensation & Benefits, Labor Relations, Recruitment, and Employee Engagement . Familiarity with Philippine labor standards and government-mandated benefits is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word . Willing to learn and handle multiple HR functions. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with employees and different departments.
