This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised HR professional with a minimum of 3 years' HR experience . Applicants will ideally hold a degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field , and be CIPD qualified (or working towards a CIPD qualification). The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, training, and administration. The successful candidate will support a multi-site operation , working closely with managers and employees across multiple locations, with the role based at our Head Office in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare . The Role As HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for employees and managers on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring the delivery of a professional, compliant, and employee-focused HR service. You will provide support across recruitment, employee records management, training coordination, HR administration, and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Support Act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries from employees and managers. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and support best practice HR standards throughout the organisation. Prepare and administer HR documentation, including contracts of employment, employee handbooks, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HR databases in line with GDPR and legislative requirements. Manage employee lifecycle administration including new starters, transfers, role changes, and leavers. Monitor employee attendance records, annual leave, sick leave, and other absences. Recruitment & Onboarding Support end-to-end recruitment activities across the business. Liaise with recruitment agencies and external providers. Coordinate interviews and candidate communications. Screen applications and assist hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Facilitate employee onboarding and induction programmes, ensuring a positive new starter experience. Training & Compliance Deliver induction training for new employees. Maintain training records and monitor mandatory training compliance. Coordinate training programmes relating to health and safety, manual handling, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements. Support continuous learning and development initiatives across the business. Administration & General Support Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and wider management team. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentation. Attend meetings as required and take accurate notes and minutes. Manage diaries, meeting schedules, room bookings, and equipment requirements. Conduct research and support HR projects and initiatives. Build strong working relationships across departments and provide general office support as required. About You The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a HR Advisor, HR Administrator or similar HR role . CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable. A degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Law, or a related discipline is preferred. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills. Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
